From August 10 to 14, 2025, the Vancouver Convention Centre hosted the 52nd edition of SIGGRAPH, the world’s leading conference and exhibition in computer graphics and digital interactions.
In this article, we share the highlights of MOVE4D’s participation at SIGGRAPH 2025—from our presence at the exhibition floor to the key applications of the technology in the creative and tech industries, along with the international connections and insights gained from this year’s edition.
SIGGRAPH, a hub of innovation
With a hybrid format, SIGGRAPH 2025 Vancouver brought together both in-person and online participants, attracting a diverse international audience that included researchers, creatives, engineers, and professionals from fields such as animation, extended reality, artificial intelligence, scientific visualization, and gaming.
Siggraph was not just a platform for lectures and technical presentations; it also showcased emerging technologies, interactive demonstrations, and immersive programs like Spatial Storytelling and the Immersive Pavilion. It offered a unique opportunity for networking and inspiration across multiple creative disciplines.
MOVE4D at the heart of the exhibition
A standout presence on the exhibition floor
During the exhibition days (August 12–14), MOVE4D featured a dedicated booth where our colleagues Carmelo Lizarraga Giménez and Beatriz Mañas Ballester showcased the system capabilities.
This level of fluidity and quality attracted both technical developers and designers, allowing them to easily and accurately assess real human motion.
This space allowed attendees to experience firsthand how MOVE4D captures the body and motion simultaneously, producing complete 3D meshes without markers, with high frequency and precision—perfectly suited for workflows in graphics, animation, VR, ergonomics, and applied R&D.

Valuable connections with international leaders
Being present at Siggraph opened doors. The booth hosted meetings with professionals from animation studios, game developers, VR companies, interactive designers, and academics. These interactions highlighted how MOVE4D can transcend its traditional applications, serving as an advanced tool for the creative and tech industries.

Opening new application paths for MOVE4D
Beyond clinical or sports settings, MOVE4D is now positioned as an essential tool for:
- Cutting-edge animation.
- Realistic digital modeling.
- Integration into immersive creative workflows.
By exhibiting at a global forum like Siggraph and participating in the main exhibition, MOVE4D reaffirmed its position as a reference technology for the future of motion capture applied to digital design, multimedia production, and precise human simulation.
The participation of MOVE4D strengthened its reputation as an advanced body scanning solution for interdisciplinary environments.
IA as a central creative and technical driver
This edition emphasized how advanced graphics technologies are redefining computer vision. Within this context, MOVE4D aligns directly with this disruptive vision.
At IBV, we continue driving innovation with MOVE4D, our 4D motion capture technology, offering precise and advanced solutions for research, design, and industry.
